In the late 1950s, a French archivist, Guy Quincy, compiled a catalog of sightings of unidentified flying objects. He noted there, without further details or source, that on September 29, 1954, at an unknown time, a luminous object had been observed North of Paris or in the North of Paris, and in the Paris region.
In the 2010s, a German UFO sightings database indicated that there was a sighting in Paris on September 29, 1954 at 10:25 p.m..
No source or details were given.
