Possible double-entry:

Saint-Avit-du-Moiron, and not "St. Avit Moiron", is an old French town of the Gironde department; which was later integrated into Saint-Avit-Saint-Nazaire.

"UFO-Datenbank" is the only source I could find to date reporting a case that day in this place. This database is customary for duplicates and various places given for one single case.

It turns out that there is a Saint-Avit-de-Vialard in the Dordogne. And there was a case that same day in the Dordogne, in Bru, recorded no less than 5 times by [ubk1] with "Bru" as a city and an hour of "21:00" also. It is therefore possible that [ubk1] was simply mistaken with the Saint-Avit name.

However, "Bru" is not a commune; it is probably a locality, which according to various sources is neither "near Gardanne" nor "near Gardonne" in the Dordogne. But Gardanne is in the Bouches-du-Rhone near Marseille, and Gardonne is 50 km by road from Saint-Avit-Saint-Nazaire. All this makes the situation very confusing, and so I leave this case apart from the case of Bru, waiting to find out more information.

"Saint-Avit-du-Moiron" does not exist since 1971, it is now grouped with Saint-Nazaire, and called Saint-Avit-Saint-Nazaire, in the Gironde department.
