In his 1958 book on the French wave of 1954, Aimé Michel indicated that on September 28, 1954, at 08:30 p.m., in Pont-sur-Yonne, 10 kilometers northwest of Sens, the employees of the railway station made an "absolutely concordant" observation with those of Vauders and Sens that day.
