Summary:

In his 1958 book on the French wave of 1954, Aimé Michel indicated that on September 27, 1954, around 10:45 p.m., there was an observation on the Paris region, with quite a few witnesses including a policeman from Bagnolet.

An object has passed at the zenith, the policeman claiming to have discerned very clearly a flat disc, of greenish white color, surrounded by an orange halo.

According to the French ufologist Aimé Michel, on the night of September 27, at about 10:45 p.m., an observation occurred in the area of Paris, with quite a number of witnesses including a gendarme [police officer] of Bagnolet. An object went by at the zenith, the gendarme claimed that he has been able to clearly distinguish a flat disc, greenish-white, surrounded by an orange halation.

Aimé Michel notes that this was the last observation for that day in the Paris area.

In the Bagnolet district of Paris a policeman saw a greenish-white saucer cross the sky. Many others in the city reported the same thing. 144.

The source "144" is given as: "Michel, Aime. Flying saucers and the Straight-Line Mystery. p.86."

Luc Chastan indicates in his database that in the Seine Saint Denis (93) in Bagnolet on September 27, 1954 at 22:45 hours, "Rather many witnesses among them a gendarme of Bagnolet observed an object pass at the zenith, the gendarme claiming to have very clearly distinguished a flat, greenish white disc, surrounded by an orange halation."

The source is indicated as: "M.O.C. by Michel Aimé ** Arthaud 1958".
