Summary:

Sci-fi writer and pioneering ufologist Jimmy Guieu had reported the observation by his mother of a spindle-shaped machine over Aix-en-Provence on February 22, 1954 around 7 p.m. Guieu explained that he then made a radio call for additional witnesses without giving the exact hour, and received concordant testimonies from the area.

He indicates that in Fuveau, 13 km in straight line from Aix-en-Provence, that same February 22, 1954, at 07:01 p.m., a cigar-shaped object had been observed in the sky. It had stopped over the city, then resumed its slow and silent flight.

See the case at Aix-en-Provence the same day at the same time and with the same source, but more detailed, and why it could have been a helicopter.

In the case of Fuveau, a silent movement is indicated, but we do not know the observation distance and we do not know the volume of the ambient sounds.
