The regional newspaper Le Courrier de Saône-et-Loire for October 23, 1954, reported very briefly that on the evening of October 21, 1954, a male resident of Champforgeuil saw "a mysterious object in the sky. It was a luminous sphere that hovered for a while, then suddenly rose in altitude and disappeared."

One of our readers from Autun reports that, while standing in front of the post office a few days ago, he saw a mysterious round-shaped luminous object in the sky.
