[Ref. ldl1:] UFOLOGY MAGAZINE "LUMIERES DANS LA NUIT":
The magazine reports that the astrophysicist and ufologist Pierre Guerin discovered a case in Yssingeaux in Haute-Loire of 1954.
The witness is a 40 year old woman at the time of the investigation, residing in Paris, psychic who exerts on a professional basis and whose "capacities" were tested by professor Rémy Chauvin who indicated that "her gifts are real, but she can also sometimes be wrong."
When she was aged 10 approximately, a summer in 1954 or about 1954, she was on holiday at her grandparents. After lunch, she had gone out and was in the garden right beside the house. She then saw a large gleam in front of her and lost consciousness.
She recovered consciousness a good hour later in the same property but one kilometer further in the middle of a wheat field, without knowing what had occurred during the past time nor how she could have been transported further.
According to this lady, it is this experience that is at the origin of her gifts of clairvoyance, since as from this day, strange things happened to her: one could not to touch her navel anymore it made her jump and it was unbearable. Then, she started to have psychic powers, which annoyed her much at the beginning when she discovered that she frequently read in the thought of her close relations, noting that they lied and imagining that they also could read in her thoughts.
Put in pension, she was prone to quantity of bizarreries which she could never explain. Balls or bars sometimes danced sometimes in front of her. When she separated from her husband a few years ago, she thought of using her gifts commercially, and took customers. She has refused hypnotic regression because she feared that that could make her loose her powers which became her resource.

[Ref. jsr1:] JEAN SIDER:
I specify that this term [abduction], which corresponds to "kidnapping", in my mind, does not mean that the witness was taken on board a UFO, but that he could or should have been subjected to a type of experience that has been concealed from his perception, or masked by some artifice.
Here is a short summary of the few incidents that are reported in their original version in the iconographic notebook.
D.O. 88 - Yssingeaux, Hte-Loire, summer 1954.
Case of missing time of a person who later developed gifts as a medium, and which recalls certain incidents reported in this book.

1954 | Yssingeaux (Haute Loire) | 48-year-old lady, 10 years in 1954 | LDLN 314 | Abd-M.T. |
[Ref. rbt1:] RENAUD BENOIST:
The author indicates that in the summer of 1954 in the town of Yssingeaux in the Haute-Loire, a girl lost consciousness when she found herself facing a luminous ball of blue color as she walked alone in a wood near the city.
It is difficult to me to set out my explanation of this case without placing too much stress on the private life of the lady in question, but I nevertheless want to give these elements:
This person, companion of a ufologist with whom I communicated in the years 2000's, was active on UFO boards of the web, using a fantasy pseudonym. Her writings were totally unreliable in my opinion; she claimed, for example, that she was the cause of the appearance of UFOs in a much more recent UFO flap, as if her "powers" had somehow called the "extraterrestrials". She actually speaks of "hantités", a mispell for "entities" rather than aliens...
This person may have seen or experienced something in 1954, I cannot prove the contrary; but I feel this is very far from a convincing testimony - there is strictly no published information on the observation other than the year, the city, and this "she saw a great glow and lost consciousness".
I can also note that at Yssingeaux on October 31, 1954, there was an observation of what was in fact certainly a meteor. And another probable meteor was reported there at an unknown date in September 1954.
