The ufology magazine Lumières Dans la Nuit #97 for December 1968 published a summary on the case in Gelles on October 18, 1954. At the end of the report, it is mentioned that someone from Vichy paid a visit to the Gelles case's witness and explained that he had a similar experience.
Driving his car, this person had motor difficulties until the stop of his vehicle at the approach of a "cigar" which moved silently at breast height.
