Summary:

In the local newspaper Nord Littoral, of Calais, it was reported on page 5 for October 22, 1954, that an honorable farmer from Louches, Mr. Masson, returned home around 09:00 p.m. on his tractor when he saw a bright light and almost immediately, he heard a violent explosion.

The newspaper added that when he came to see their correspondent in Ardres to report this, he still seemed overwhelmed.

In his 1997 book "Le Problème de la Vie Extraterrestre", ufologist Michel Jeantheau reported that in 1954 in Louches, a bright glow accompanied by a violent explosion was observed by Mr. Masson.
