In a "regional catalogue" of 1995, French ufologist Raoul Robé, dealing with the North-East of France, noted an observation close to Fixin, Côte-d'Or, France, between 1950 and 1956, likely in 1954, at an unknown hour.
A Mr. Baran or Baraban, 40-year-old, saw in the yard of his farm, at La Rente de Chamerey near Fixin, a craft in the shape of a top, of gray color, land, and humanoids in outfits seeming to rise from the ground. They walked with difficulties, their arms spread like "bibendums."
Before that, he had seen brilliant lights going down from the sky.
Raoul Robé indicated that this came from an ADRUP neighborhood investigation in 1984, and that the witness was not retrieved. This witness apparently told neighbors what he had experienced the night before.
In the 2000s, for no reason, Albert Rosales dates the case of "December 1954" and ignores the origin of the story and the doubts expressed by Raoul Robé; these errors and omissions are then copied by others.

Case nr 19:
A couple of Flavignerol (21) tells that their neighbor-uncertain name Mr. Baran or Baraban? (40) - came in the 50s (between 1950 and 56), probably 1954, to tell them what he had experienced the night before. In the yard of his farm, at La Rente de Chamerey near Fixin (21), a machine in the shape of a top, of gray color, lands and humanoids in outfits seem to rise from the ground. They walk with difficulties their arms spread like "bibendums". A few days earlier, he had seen lights moving in the sky.
Explication: case badly informed, witness not retrieved.

December 1954. FIXIN (COTE D'OR : FRANCE)
Mr Baran saw a grey top shaped object sitting in a field. Around it were several humanoid figures wearing grey one piece suits, who appeared to be moving with difficulty. Previous to this he had seen bright lights in the sky (Gross URECAT citing Rosales citing Raul Robe regional catalogue)

Unidentified, possible helicopter.
Above: "Bibendum" was the nickname given to the "Michelin man", mascot of that French tires manufacturer.
Rosales [ars1] indicates that this case appears in the regional catalogue by Raoul Robé. I can tell that it does not appear in the version of this catalogue published in the ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit for September / October 1986. But I finally found it in 2019 in the version published in Les Mystères de l'Est [rre1].
The sparse information does not allow discarding the possibility that Mr. Baran saw a helicopter and its crew.
