The ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit #125 of May 1973 indicated that according to the newspaper La Montagne for October 26, 1954, on October 18, 1954 in Mozac, in the evening, Messrs Valleix and Boeuf were blinded by a luminous trail.
The cart they drove poured into the ditch but they were not hurt.
[Ref. ldl1:] UFOLOGY MAGAZINE "LUMIERES DANS LA NUIT":
This magazine indicates that on October 18, 1954, Mr. Valleix and Mr. Boeuf were blinded by a luminous trail in the evening. Their carriages went into the ditch but no harm was done.
The source is indicated as La Montagne, 10/26.
[Ref. pgs1:] A READER:
A reader, nonanonymous but I preserve his anonymity, contacted me in 2005 about this case. He is the grandson of a friend of Mr. Valleix, and he was told that Mr. Boeuf is a cousin of his grandfather. He learned from his parents that Mr. Valleix was nicknamed "Pierrot le Fou", "Peter the crackpot" perhaps because of this observation, people having perhaps decided he must have been crazy.
[Ref. lcn1:] LUC CHASTAN:
Luc Chastan indicates that in the Puy de Dômes [sic, Dôme] in Mozac on October 18, 1954 at an unknown hour, "In the evening, two witnesses were blinded by a luminous trail. The carriage they drove poured over in the ditch, without harm."
The source is indicated as my website at "** http://ufologie.net" [This being the old URL of the home page of my website.]
